As you know we’re a small independent business and that may well be one of the reasons you’ve chosen to use us to help with your special day. We always aim to look after our customers to the best of our ability and just because times may be more challenging than usual that won’t change things for us. We’ll just be trying even harder!
We'll update this information on a regular basis as things develop and more information becomes available.
But, please, do contact us to talk through any concerns that you might have.
If you've been forced to change the date of your wedding (or even if you're just thinking it through at the moment) we’ll happily do anything we can to help. Just let us know what you need and we’ll chat it through with you and work out the best solution.
In order to play our part in supporting the Government's social distancing advice we have taken the decision to close our shops to the public unless by special appointment. This will better enable us to protect ourselves and our customers at this difficult time.
We will be monitoring emails from home and will be able to respond to your enquiries.
We'll do our best to make arrangements for any existing customers to collect their pre-booked hired or purchased outfits at a time to be pre-arranged, and we'll make them available earlier than planned at no additional cost, so please contact us to make these arrangements.
If you have existing orders which you need to postpone or cancel please email the appropriate shop with a few details and we'll get back to you.
Any customers who are wanting to place orders for use in the future, especially weddings which you are planning for later on this year, please email us so that we can contact you to discuss your options and talk through how we can be of help to you.
We're all in this together, so let's help each other to get through this tough time and come out of it in good shape.

Unlike many other men’s suit hire shops, we own our stock and keep hundreds of wedding suits, dinner jackets, tuxedos, morning suits, waistcoats and accessories on the premises in each of our shops, all available to hire or to buy. This gives DAPPER Formalwear for Men an edge over many of our local competitors and allows us to maintain our own very high standards of quality control. With each of our shops having its own alteration workshop on the premises, we are able to make small adjustments to your garments to achieve a better fit and, if necessary, at very short notice.
