My partner and I have had to unfortunately postpone our wedding twice due to COVID. Ian and the team have been nothing short of amazing. Professional and accommodating with no request being too much of a problem. The selection of suits were fantastic and the team were able to help me and my groomsmen with fittings and bespoke requests. Dear All,

Like most girls I had dreams when I was growing up about my wedding day, but having worked in the wedding industry for almost 20 years, there aren’t many girls who can say they actually met and got to know most of their wedding suppliers before they had even met their Groom! I always knew my suppliers were going to play a huge role in making our day special, and also in helping me with the planning and adding the amazing finishing touches, so I knew I needed a team I could rely on and bounce ideas off, a team who understood Dan and I and the emotional journey we had been on to get u to our day. With my knowledge of the industry I knew my wedding suppliers were going to be just as much part of our day as all our family and friends. They would become our friends, and not one of them let us down, our day was truly amazing!

As with any blockbuster movie or classic theatre production, the production team are the true talent, they are the people that bring the story to life and make the dream come true. So as a BIG thank you for all their help and support in making our day so special we would like to share this little video with you all and we highly recommend each and every one of our wonderful suppliers…including Dapper Dorking.

The groom, and his party of 11 all hired their suits from Dapper in Dorking after having been recommended by a friend who got married a year before. Dapper had a special offer that stated if you order 6 months in advance then you receive 50% off the price! So claire and Mark were really pleased with their decision.  The suits were a light weight Grey Herring bone style suit. Mark wore the grey suit with an ivory waistcoat and matching ivory cravat. Claire then bough him red and silver cufflinks and a tie pin to match the colour theme as a gift. The other two best men, six ushers, page boy and Bride and Grooms Fathers wore the same suit with the same ivory waistcoat but with red cravats and matching handkerchiefs.

Mark commented that the suit he hired from Dapper was the best suit that he has ever worn!

Excellent service.

Saved me loads of time in trailing backwards and forwards to shops. Good quality garments for the price, but slightly disappointed that shirt did not have double cuff for cuff links. Still great service and will use again ... better than your perhaps higherprofile competitors.

Unfortunately, experience has shown that double cuff shirts are not entirely practical for hiring purposes. Even after only one use there is a line of grime grained into the area where the cuff has been folded over. This can never be totally removed, regardless of the laundering technique. Although the shirt may have been fully laundered and is, in fact, clean, it doesn't look it. We therefore have taken the view that single cuff shirts are less likely to create an aspect of dissatisfaction for our clients. For clients who prefer the double cuff, we have retail models available from £29.95.
