Contact Us

These are some of the steps we’re taking to work around the difficulties currently facing us. We’ll keep this information updated whenever something changes.

If you're coming in to one of our shops, we’d obviously really appreciate it if you’d take your own precautions in line with the best available current advice and guidance and we’d ask you to provide your own face covering and disposable gloves.

  • We’ve carried out a full COVID-19 Risk Assessment in line with the latest government guidelines.
  • Our shops are open BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.
  • We have QR codes displayed so that you can check in with the NHS COVID-19 App on your mobile phone.
  • We’re strictly limiting the number of people allowed in the shop at any one time, depending on the type of appointment.
  • We’ll be emailing you in advance of your appointment to let you know what to expect when you come in to see us.
  • We’ll keep your appointment separate from anybody else’s. It would be very helpful if you could try to stick to appointment times.
  • We’ve had clear screens installed where appropriate to provide a protective barrier between staff and customers.
  • We’re regularly cleaning surfaces such as door handles, phones, credit card terminals, keyboards etc. with anti-bacterial cleaning products.
  • We’re washing our hands and sanitising them before and after dealing with each customer.
  • We’ll be wearing a combination of type-II face masks, face shields (visors) and disposable gloves when dealing with customers.
  • We’ll keep requirements for personal measurements to an absolute minimum. Where it can’t be avoided, we’ll be measuring you from behind and not face-to-face.
  • We’re asking our customers to wear their own face coverings and disposable gloves.
  • We have good supplies of antibacterial hand sanitiser for use both by ourselves and our customers.
  • We’re strictly controlling the use of our fitting rooms and cleaning them between each use.
  • We’re steam-cleaning garments after they’ve been tried on and keeping them behind the scenes until they’re ready for return to the shop floor.
  • Sorry, but customers aren’t allowed to use our staff toilets.
  • When you have orders to collect we’ll be aiming to have them prepared earlier than was originally agreed with you. We’ll contact you to let you know how much earlier this might be and we’ll be asking you to collect them as soon as possible, by appointment of course. That way you’ll have peace of mind that you have your outfits in good time for your special day.
  • All of our garments are steam cleaned during the preparation stage to help in the prevention of germ carrying.
  • For those of you who already have larger groups booked in we’ll be contacting you to ask for your cooperation in rearranging into individual appointments.

What to expect if you're coming to choose wedding outfits:

Things are a bit different now that we’re having to conform to the government’s COVID-19 Secure guidelines, so we thought it might be a good idea to let you know what to expect.

PLEASE READ THIS INFORMATION CAREFULLY. These procedures are designed to protect both our customers and our staff in the best possible way.

  • Firstly, if you’re doing any coughing or sneezing in the days before your appointment, please, please, please, contact us and re-arrange for another time.

  • We’ll usually allocate a two hour slot. The first 90 minutes will be for you. The remaining 30 minutes will be for us to prepare the shop to receive our next customer. Please try your best to arrive on time as we may not be able to run over into the next appointment slot.

  • We’re happy to welcome you with one other person, preferably your partner, so that between the two of you you’ll be able to reach a decision. It might help if you have some sort of idea of what you have in mind. You can see many of our ranges on our website and you can get ideas from what our previous customers have selected in our Real Weddings section under the information tab on our home page HERE.

  • Only one person will be able to try on at this stage.

  • Please bring your own face coverings (and disposable gloves if you wish to). Your face covering should be put on before entering the shop.

  • Once inside we’ll ask you to use our hand sanitiser (or your own if you prefer) before putting your gloves on.

  • Please remember to maintain a safe 2m distance from our staff where at all possible. When not possible, back-to-back or side-to-side is better than face-to-face.

  • Please don’t remove your gloves or face covering until you’ve left the shop.

  • Sorry, but you won’t be able to use our staff toilets.

What to expect if you're coming for a fitting appointment:

If you've made an appointment to come and see us to be fitted for your outfit(s); that means that your outfit has already been selected and ordered and you’re coming simply so that we can check your size requirements.

Things are a bit different now that we have to conform to the government’s COVID-19 Secure guidelines, so we thought it might be a good idea to let you know what to expect.

  • We’ve allocated a 20 minute slot per person. We expect to spend the first 15 minutes on your fitting. The remaining 5 minutes will be for us to prepare the shop to receive our next customer. Please try your best to arrive on time as we may not be able to run over into the next appointment slot.

  • You’ll be the only customer being fitted at this time. Anyone else who’s with you may be required to remain outside. The only exception to this will be if you’re with a child who is being fitted.

  • Only one person will be fitted at any one time.

When not possible, for example when we have to take a physical measurement, we’ll work from behind you, not face-to-face.

  • Please don’t remove your gloves or face covering until you’ve left the shop.

  • Sorry, but you won’t be able to use our staff toilets.
