LATEST VIRUS INFORMATION
(Updated on 23 February 2022)

OUR SHOPS ARE OPEN BY APPOINTMENT ONLY, SO PLEASE CHECK WITH US BEFORE ARRIVING.

IF YOU'D LIKE TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT PLEASE USE THE FORM UNDER OUR "INFORMATION" MENU

FOLLOWING THE PRIME MINISTER'S ANNOUNCEMENT ON  21 FEBRUARY 2022 AND THE GOVERNMENT'S PUBLICATION OF A 63 PAGE DOCUMENT ABOUT "LIVING WITH COVID-19" (you can view it here if you're interested), WE WOULD ASK YOU TO PLEASE:

HELP US TO HELP YOU

TO CONTINUE TO BETTER PROTECT OUR STAFF, OUR CUSTOMERS, AND OUR BUSINESS, FOR THE TIME BEING, WE'LL BE CONTINUING WITH THE POLICY OF A MAXIMUM OF TWO CUSTOMERS IN THE SHOP AT ONE TIME.

WE'LL ALSO BE CONTINUING TO WEAR FACE COVERINGS AND WE'D RESPECTFULLY ASK OUR CUSTOMERS TO DO THE SAME (see below:)

Taken from pages 19 and 20 of the Government's "Living with Covid-19" report:

56. Individuals can still reduce the risk of catching and passing on COVID-19 by:

c. Wearing a face covering in crowded and enclosed spaces, especially where
you come into contact with people you do not usually meet, when rates of
transmission are high

These are some of the steps we’re taking to work around the difficulties currently facing us. We’ll keep this information updated whenever something changes.

If you're coming in to one of our shops, we’d obviously really appreciate it if you’d take your own precautions in line with the best available current advice and guidance and we’d ask you to provide your own face covering.

  • We’ve carried out a full COVID-19 Risk Assessment in line with the latest government guidelines.
  • Our shops are open BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.
  • We have QR codes displayed so that you can check in with the NHS COVID-19 App on your mobile phone.
  • We’re strictly limiting the number of people allowed in the shop at any one time, depending on the type of appointment.
  • We’ll be contacting you in advance of your appointment to let you know what to expect when you come in to see us.
  • We’ll try our best to keep your appointment separate from anybody else’s. It would be very helpful if you could try to stick to appointment times.
  • We’ve had clear screens installed where appropriate to provide a protective barrier between staff and customers.
  • We’re regularly cleaning surfaces such as door handles, phones, credit card terminals, keyboards etc. with anti-bacterial cleaning products.
  • We’re washing our hands and sanitising them on a very frequent basis.
  • We’ll be wearing a combination of type-II (or better) face masks, face shields (visors) and disposable gloves, as necessary, when dealing with customers.
  • We’ll keep requirements for personal measurements to an absolute minimum. Where it can’t be avoided, we’ll be measuring you from behind and not face-to-face.
  • We’re asking our customers to wear their own face coverings.
  • We have good supplies of antibacterial hand sanitiser for use both by ourselves and our customers.
  • We’re strictly controlling the use of our fitting rooms and cleaning them regularly.
  • Sorry, but customers aren’t allowed to use our staff toilets.
  • When you have orders to collect please make an appointment with us in advance. That way you’ll have peace of mind that we're controlling customer numbers in store.
  • All of our garments are steam cleaned during the preparation stage to help in the prevention of infection spreading.

What to expect if you're coming to choose wedding outfits:

Things have been quite a bit different since we've had to conform to the government’s COVID-19 Secure guidelines, but many of them make really good sense and we'll be continuing with some of them into the future, so we thought it might be a good idea to let you know what to expect.

PLEASE READ THIS INFORMATION CAREFULLY. These procedures are designed to protect both our customers and our staff in the best possible way.

  • Firstly, if you’re doing any coughing or sneezing in the days before your appointment, please, please, please, contact us and re-arrange for another time.

  • We’ll usually try to allocate a 90 minute slot. The first 80 minutes will be for you. The remaining 10 minutes will be for us to prepare the shop to receive our next customer. Please try your best to arrive on time as we may not be able to run over into the next appointment slot.

  • We’re happy to welcome you with one other person, preferably your partner, so that between the two of you you’ll be able to reach a decision. It might help if you have some sort of idea of what you have in mind. You can see many of our ranges on our website and you can get ideas from what our previous customers have selected in our Real Weddings section under the information tab on our home page HERE.

  • Only one person will be able to try on at this stage.

  • Please bring your own face coverings. Your face covering should be put on before entering the shop.

  • Once inside we’ll ask you to use our hand sanitiser (or your own if you prefer) .

  • Please remember to maintain a safe distance from our staff where at all possible. When not possible, back-to-back or side-to-side is better than face-to-face.

  • Please don’t remove your face covering until you’ve left the shop.

  • Sorry, but you won’t be able to use our staff toilets.

What to expect if you're coming for a fitting appointment:

If you've made an appointment to come and see us to be fitted for your outfit(s); that means that your outfit has already been selected and ordered and you’re coming simply so that we can check your size requirements.

  • We’ve allocated  up to 15 minutes per person. We expect to spend up to 15 minutes on your fitting. After that we'll prepare the shop to receive our next customer. Please try your best to arrive on time as we may not be able to run over into the next appointment slot.

  • You’ll be the only group of customers being fitted at this time. One other person from your group may be inside the shop with you. Anyone else who’s with you may be required to remain outside. The only exception to this will be if you’re with a child who is being fitted.

  • A maximum of two people can be fitted at any one time.

  • Please bring your own face coverings with you. Your face covering should be put on before entering the shop.

  • Once inside we’ll ask you to use our hand sanitiser (or your own if you prefer).

  • Please remember to maintain a safe distance from our staff where at all possible. When not possible, for example when we have to take a physical measurement, we’ll work from behind you, not face-to-face.

  • Please don’t remove your face covering until you’ve left the shop.

  • Sorry, but you won’t be able to use our staff toilets.
